Our Story

Ebony's Hands LLC began with a young woman named Ebony Brown from Philadelphia, PA just looking for a second stream of income. While building a vending machine business, Ebony started up baking again to have those items to offer for the vending machine. Next thing you know, the orders starting coming and feedback was flying! Now Ebony's purpose with this business is to make people happy and provide the best desserts that feel like a hug from grandma. 

Ebony's Hands was developed in September 2025 and Ebony herself has been baking since 2018. Growing up in North Philadelphia, Ebony was raised by her grandmother and was a very shy, quiet, but sweet girl. At the age of 15, Ebony entered the foster care system as a frustrated teenager who knew it was a better world out there. With the help of her known family, friends, beloved teachers, and people, Ebony was able to graduate from Bloomsburg University in 2019 and gave birth to a baby boy the same year. 

With COVID, raising a family, and finding herself, Ebony decided to provide more love and sweetness to the community with Ebony's Hands. This venture is more than money, it's about providing for our communities something a little sweet to forget about the chaos.
